My husband and I recently spent the night in NYC to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. We try to spend the night in there as often as we can. For us it’s important to reconnect and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Especially having kids, life gets so crazy and we tend to focus all of our energy and attention on them and forget about each other.
My jacket is from Lulus.com and is vegan leather, my leggings are Spanx faux leather leggings and shoes are Zadig&Voltaire and are the perfect tennis shoe to dress up any outfit!
We started off by going to Chelsea Market for lunch. It's basically a big food court with some of the best little restaurants and shops you will ever go to. We went to Big Mozz and had some of the best mozzerella sticks and Cuban sandwich I've ever had in my whole life, hands down the best! Then shopping in the Meatpacking district. Later that night we had dinner at Del Posto, which is the nicest Italian resturant and also the most romantic.
One of my absolute favorite places to go for lunch and a cocktail is The Plaza. Its just so beautiful and has the best ambiance, it's also right across the street from Central Park and very close to 5th Avenue for some shopping!

The Royalton Hotel- Located on W 44th St, Trendy, upscale with a great rooftop
Gansevoort Hotel- Located in Meatpacking, Trendy and upscale, located in my favorite part of NYC, so much shopping, restaurants and nightlife
Maritime Hotel- located downtown. Chic, stylish and has two amazing restaurants, Tao Downtown and CATCH Steak.
The Plaza New York- Located on Fifth Ave at Central Park. Luxorious, chic, regal. My absolute favorite hotel if your looking to indulge and just enjoy your loved ones company. Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary.
